Graz University of Technology and the global corporation SGS establish a centre for IT security at the Inffeldgasse campus. The team around Stefan Mangard from the Institute for Applied Information Processing and Communication Technologies, which heads the Data Security Know-Center research area, will also play an important role in this research centre.

Start bereits in diesem Jahr
Das gemeinsame Forschungszentrum nimmt im Laufe dieses Jahres seinen Betrieb auf. Vorerst in einem Container-Komplex, ehe 2021 ein neues, 7.000 Quadratmeter großes, multifunktionales Gebäude am Campus Inffeldgasse errichtet wird. Dort zieht dann auch das zentrale Prüfund Zertifizierungslabor der SGS-Gruppe ein.
