YOUR TASKS:

• You lead research and industry projects that focus on supporting organizations (SMEs, large companies or non-profits) in developing business models that exploit the possibilities of data analytics and artificial intelligence (AI). You are interested in working in different areas such as environment & sustainability or production & logistics
• You support the expansion of existing tools and methods for the development of data-driven and AI-supported business models in various domains.
• Your research focus is in information science, economics, innovation management, business informatics, or related research areas; in particular, interdisciplinary research in the fields of human-machine interaction or science and technology studies is also possible. You will publish your research results in prestigious journals and conferences.
• You will work in the interdisciplinary Digital Transformation Design Research group headed by Assoc. Prof. Viktoria Pammer-Schindler. The research group develops tools and methods to make the best possible use of AI and other modern technologies in knowledge-intensive, creative and strategic contexts.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

• PhD or advanced PhD studies in information science, economics, business informatics, industrial engineering or a similar discipline
• International research profile in at least one of these areas
• Experience in managing scientific projects is an advantage, ideally in EU projects
• First experience in the acquisition of research projects (national and international) and industrial projects is an advantage
• Fluency in English (at least B2 level), knowledge in German is an advantage

We are required by law to specify the minimum gross salary according to the collective agreement, which is for the full-time position with some working experience a minimum 4.752,30 EUR gross per month (14 times per year). Depending on qualifications and experience we are willing to pay a higher salary in line with the market.
