The Know-Center spin-off e-nnovation, founded in 2018, bundles know-how and core competencies for the development and marketing of digital solutions of advanced data analysis, as well as research and development results, especially in the field of Active Assisted Living. With EMMA, in cooperation with the Know-Center, assistance for the organization of care & nursing of elderly people is offered.
Invenium Data Insights GmbH was founded in 2016 as a Know-Center spin-off. Invenium uses research work on the analysis of cell phone data for traffic planning and mobility forecasts, which the Know-Center conducted together with ISV, an institute of the Graz University of Technology. Meanwhile, Invenium is already a cooperation partner of A1 Telekom Austria Group.
The Know-Center spin-off Open Knowledge Maps was founded in 2016 and makes innovations and technologies in the field of “Open Science” freely available to a broad community of researchers, practitioners, and learners. The platform is intensively used by users for research, work, and studies and even awarded the Austrian Prize for Free Knowledge in 2019.
TACEO enables data collaboration with highly sensitive data. TACEO’s SMPC engine (Secure Multiparty Computation) shifts the security, privacy, and trust aspects to the protocol level and makes data collaboration secure, fast and easy.
TACEO GmbH was founded as a spin-off of the Know-Center and the Graz University of Technology.
