The International Workshop on Interactive Content Consumption (WSICC) series consisted of 4 editions at the EuroITV and ACM TVX conferences in Como/IT, Newcastle upon Tyne/UK, Brussels/BE and Chicago/USA.
The full-day workshops could be characterized by a very interactive format with substantial room for discussion, which was very much appreciated by the participants. New forms of media content, consumption behaviour, interaction devices and paradigms, as well as the evaluation and design of user experience were addressed.
The article discusses WSICC’s results and highlights as well as future implications for this interdisciplinary area of research.
