AMEE is the European regional association of the World Federation for Medical Education and a member of the WFME Executive Council. Over the past decade, AMEE has developed steadily both in size and in the sphere of its activities and is now a worldwide association with members and contacts in over 90 countries. AMEE 2017 is a conference & education networking event for medical and healthcare professionals from around the world.
Know-Center will be represented by Sebastian Dennerlein from the Area Social Computing. In cooperation with Leeds University, he will organize a BarCamp on August 28. The event is called: „BarCamp – a space to think – set the agenda yourself, discuss and explore recent work and topics emerging from the conference” (More information can be found in the program)
Sebastian Dennerlein is also the author of a paper on organizing barcamps, titled: „Raising the BarCamp: international reflections“. It has been published as an Open Access Paper in the AMEE Journal MedEdPublish (Full bibliography: Topps, David, Sebastian Dennerlein, and Tamsin Treasure-Jones. “Raising the BarCamp: international reflections.” MedEdPublish 6 (2017))
Further on, there will be a presentation of the new med360 tools developed by Know-Center. Participants will have the chance to learn more about the tool and experience it as a test-user.
